After a year that saw history made in the Moto3 season, 2025 will likewise feature wise young heads and a plethora of new names. With that comes new rivalries, new stories, new emotions, and new dreams.
Moto3™ is finely poised nine races in. And Assen has been the scene of some epic, multi-rider fights in recent years, such last year’ s epic when just 0.012 covered the top 2 riders at the chequered flag!
In de Moto3 heerst een precaire balans na negen races. En Assen is in recente jaren het toneel geweest van fantastische gevechten tussen meerdere coureurs. De race van vorig jaar is daar een mooi voorbeeld van, waarin het verschil tussen de eerste twee maar 0,012 seconden was.

Jose Antonio Rueda( Red Bull KTM Ajo) has been the stand out name so far this year, winning five of the first seven races, including an incredible victory from the back of the grid in the UK. At this moment, this year is set for a two-way shootout with fellow preseason favourite Angel Piqueras( FRINSA – MT Helmets – MSI) scoring two brilliant victories in Argentina and Qatar.
Joel Kelso( LEVELUP-MTA) is enjoying his best season to date. David Muñoz( Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) and Taiyo Furusato( Honda Team Asia) will be eager to challenge for the lead of the championship after muted starts to the season. The same could be said of Dennis Foggia( CFMoto Aspar Team), who is gradually rediscovering form after a slow readaptation to the Moto3™ class.
And watch out for Alvaro Carpe( Red Bull KTM Ajo), who amazed onlookers with a scintillating podium finish in Thailand, his first race as a full-time World Championship rider, as well as Maximo Quiles( CFMoto Aspar Team). Both Spaniards are hotly tipped for big things in 2025.

Momenteel lijkt dit seizoen af te stevenen op een gevecht tussen Rueda en de andere favoriet na het voorseizoen Angel Piqueras( FRINSA – MT Helmets – MSI), die twee briljante overwinningen in Argentinië en Qatar boekte.
Joel Kelso( LEVELUP-MTA) rijdt zijn meest succesvolle seizoen tot op heden. David Muñoz( Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) en Taiyo Furusato( Honda Team Asia) zijn erop gebrand aan de titelstrijd mee te doen na een bescheiden start van het seizoen. Hetzelfde kan gezegd worden over Dennis Foggia( CFMoto Aspar Team) die gaandeweg zijn vorm terugvindt na een langzame heraanpassing aan de Moto3-klasse.
En let op Alvaro Carpe( Red Bull KTM Ajo), die vriend en vijand verbaasde met een zinderende podiumplaats in Thailand, zijn eerste race als fulltime rijder in het WK, alsmede Maximo Quiles( CFMoto Aspar Team). Van beide Spanjaarden worden grootse dingen verwacht in 2025.
