One of the three rookies on the 2025 grid, Fermin Aldeguer made his own way to MotoGP, from the Stock European Championship to the Moto2 European Championship to MotoE to the Moto2 World Championship. By the end of 2023, his form was so good that some worried the 2024 Moto2 season could be a clean sweep. But it wasn’ t, it was actually a tougher one at times, and one he’ ll want to take lessons from as he moves up. That 2023 form, and flashes of it last season though, says he’ s very fast. As does his CV. How fast will he settle in?

Een van de drie rookies op de grid van 2025 vond zijn eigen weg naar MotoGP, van het Europese Kampioenschap Stock en het Europese Kampioenschap Moto2 via MotoE naar de Moto2 in het wereldkampioenschap. Tegen het eind van 2023 was Fermin Aldeguer zo goed in vorm dat sommigen bang waren dat het Moto2-seizoen van 2024 weleens heel saai kon worden. Maar niets was minder waar. Het werd soms juist een lastiger seizoen, waaruit hij lessen moet trekken voor de toekomst. Zijn vorm in 2023, en bij vlagen ook in het afgelopen seizoen, maakt wel duidelijk dat hij heel snel is.
