Despite Marc Marquez securing the 2025 MotoGP title with four rounds remaining and winning 17 of 22 races, Ducati’ s season was not entirely straightforward. Double World Champion Francesco Bagnaia rarely looked fully comfortable on the Desmosedici GP25, while Fabio Di Giannantonio endured an inconsistent campaign. Even after sweeping the Riders’, Teams’ and Constructors’ titles, Ducati has shown little interest in standing still ahead of 2026.
This season, Ducati benefits from even stronger factory representation. After delivering an outstanding runner up finish in 2025, Alex Marquez has been rewarded with full factory machinery, giving Ducati four bikes with top level technical support. Technical chief Davide Barana highlighted several key updates for the new season, including improvements to the ride height device and chassis revisions designed to reduce vibration and improve high speed stability.
Ducati has also continued refining engine performance despite the current engine freeze regulations.“ We’ ve worked on engine performance despite engine freeze,” Barana explained, pointing to changes involving air intake, airflow and lubricant oil, alongside a revised aerodynamic package aimed at reducing drag and improving top speed. Early results during testing were mixed, but there is growing confidence inside Ducati that the factory has regained its direction heading into the new campaign.

Je jasné, že výrobce bude opět terčem všech soupeřů, ale některá zranění Marca Márqueze a těžší sezóna v loňském roce pro Bagnaiu nechaly dveře pro Aprilii otevřené. Pokud Marc Márquez vyhraje šampionát v roce 2026, bude to jeho největší návrat, co se týče bodů- dokáže to Ducati před novou érou v roce 2027?
