The only manufacturer to stop a Ducati clean sweep in 2024, Aprilia took a Grand Prix victory thanks to Maverick Viñales in the USA and claimed seven Sprint podiums. With Viñales now at KTM and Aleix Espargaró retiring, Aprilia’ s new lineup is formidable— reigning World Champion Jorge Martin brings the # 1 plate to Noale, while Marco Bezzecchi becomes the first full-time factory Aprilia rider from Italy since 2021.
Despite the COTA win and Sprint successes, 2024 was a mixed season overall for Aprilia, who finished third in the manufacturers’ standings.
The 2025 RS-GP already appears to be a step forward, with Martin praising its front-end feeling, aided by new downwash ducts.
