Welcome to the 2021 MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas . The “ see you next year ” of 2019 turned out to be a longer wait than we could have envisioned , but we are glad this day is finally here !
Our thanks goes out to all here today , and a special thank you to those who bought tickets in 2020 and stuck with us through the unknown . After a couple postponements and a cancelation , we know your patience was tested . We sincerely appreciate your support through unprecedented and challenging times .
Further appreciation goes out to the riders , teams , Dorna Sports , and the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme . Without your extraordinary effort , we know this event wouldn ’ t happen . Navigating international logistics , travel restrictions and personal sacrifices makes this year ’ s event all that much more special , and we recognize your accomplishment .
