It took a long run of podiums , poles and impressive performances from 2017 to late 2023 when Johann Zarco finally stood atop a MotoGP rostrum as a race winner . But not for lack of trying . Fresh from two Moto2™ titles , he made a splash on his debut with the independent Tech 3 team , then with Yamaha in 2017 , to an ill-fated stint at Red Bull KTM Factory Racing before they were near the front . Then he landed at the Ducati-fielding Pramac team and the stars finally aligned . From there , Zarco made the move to Honda and the LCR team to make a second attempt at playing a bigger role in developing a bike . Since , he ’ s been a standout performer for the Japanese factory in qualifying and race trim , taking their best finish of 2024 . Can he continue the trend in 2025 ?
Tuvo que firmar una larga lista de podios , ' poles ' y actuaciones impresionantes desde 2017 hasta que , a finales de 2023 , Johann Zarco finalmente se subió a lo alto de un podio de MotoGP como ganador de una carrera . Pero no por falta de ganas . Recién llegado de dos títulos de Moto2™ , deslumbró en su debut con el Equipo independiente Tech3 con una Yamaha , antes de un discreto paso por el Red Bull KTM Factory Racing previo a volver a despuntar . Al aterrizar en el equipo Pramac , con Ducati , los astros finalmente se alinearon . A partir de ahí , Zarco dio el salto a Honda y al equipo LCR para afrontar un segundo intento de jugar un papel más importante en el desarrollo de una moto . Desde entonces , ha destacado para la fábrica japonesa tanto en ' qualy ' como en carrera , logrando su mejor resultado de 2024 . ¿ Podrá continuar dicha tendencia en 2025 ?
