Es un gusto saludar y dar la bienvenida en nombre de todo el pueblo de Santiago del Estero a quienes nos visitan en ocasión del Gran Premio Michelin de la República Argentina , que celebraremos con enorme entusiasmo en el Circuito Internacional de la Ciudad de Termas de Río Hondo . Estábamos expectantes por recibir nuevamente , tras el paréntesis obligado por la pandemia mundial de la COVID-19 , a los miles de visitantes , argentinos y de todo el mundo , que llegarán para disfrutar de este gran evento internacional . Pilotos de las tres categorías del Campeonato del Mundo de MotoGP™ , miembros de los equipos y de la Organización del certamen , medios de prensa y a todos los turistas y espectadores que han elegido especialmente este evento de MotoGP™ en Termas de Río Hondo . Fueron dos años de ausencia , pero también de grata espera y esfuerzo para todos . La Provincia trabajó mucho para que el regreso de las actividades deportivas internacionales a la República Argentina nos encuentre en la mejor forma , con un Circuito renovado al mejor nivel mundial y una oferta turística con todas las comodidades para el visitante . Es importante destacar la labor de todos para lograrlo . Quiero agradecer especialmente al Gobierno Nacional , a través de su Ministro de Turismo y Deportes , Matías Lammes , por ayudarnos a gestionar y hacer posible el retorno del Campeonato del Mundo de MotoGP™ a nuestras tierras . Los invitamos a todos a participar y disfrutar de Termas de Río Hondo , de la amabilidad de la gente , la gastronomía , las aguas termales y cada oportunidad para disfrutar que estas tierras ofrecen . Para Santiago del Estero , el turismo y el deporte son políticas de Estado y , por tal motivo , el esfuerzo por alcanzar las metas es un compromiso que nos alegra y nos da vida . On behalf of all the people in Santiago del Estero , it is a pleasure to welcome you to the Gran Premio Michelin de la República Argentina , which we will celebrate together with great enthusiasm at the Internationally renowned Termas de Río Hondo Circuit . After the delays forced by the global COVID-19 pandemic , we are looking forward to receiving the thousands of visitors again , from both Argentina and all over the world , who will arrive to enjoy this great international event . This warm welcome is extended to the riders from the three categories of the MotoGP™ World Championship , members of the teams and the organisers of the event , the media and all the tourists and spectators who have especially chosen to take in this MotoGP™ event in Termas de Río Hondo . There have been two years of absence of the event . But during that time , there has been pleasant expectation and effort from everyone anticipating MotoGP™ ’ s return . The Province worked hard so we are in the best shape to welcome the return of international sports activities to the Republic of Argentina , with a refurbished circuit to match the highest levels in the world and series of options for tourists seeking excitement and comfort . It is important to highlight the work of everyone to achieve it . I want to especially thank the National Government , through its Minister of Tourism and Sports , Matías Lammes , for helping us manage and make possible the return of the MotoGP™ World Championship to our land . We invite you all to enjoy Termas de Río Hondo , known for the kindness of the people , the gastronomy , the thermal waters . Take the opportunity to explore what that these lands can offer . For Santiago del Estero , tourism and sports are state policies and , for this reason , the effort to achieve goals is a commitment that makes us happy and gives us life .
