Rins siempre ha aprendido rápido . Además de conseguir la ‘ pole ’ en su segundo Gran Premio en 2012 , estuvo a un paso de ganar el título mundial de Moto3™ al año siguiente . Además , subió al podio en su segunda carrera de Moto2™ antes de presionar a Johann Zarco , a la postre campeón , a lo largo de 2015 . El debut de Rins en MotoGP™ con Suzuki se produjo en 2017 . Tras un inicio plagado de lesiones , progresó rápidamente , consiguiendo cinco podios en 2018 , antes de añadir tres más en 2019 . Una fractura-luxación de su hombro derecho en la primera carrera de 2020 perjudicó su campaña , pero , aun así , Rins terminó tercero en el campeonato tras una serie de excelentes carreras . Sin embargo , en 2021 no pudo mantener el nivel y sufrió hasta cinco abandonos cuando rodaba en posiciones prometedoras . Repite con el Team Suzuki Ecstar un año más y aspira a demostrar todo su potencial .

Rins has always been a fast learner . As well as taking pole position at just his second ever GP in 2012 , he came within a corner of winning the Moto3™ world title the following year . What ’ s more , he was on the podium in just his second ever Moto2™ race before pushing eventual champion Johann Zarco hardest throughout 2015 . Rins ’ MotoGP™ debut with Suzuki followed suit in 2017 . After an injury-plagued opening , he quickly progressed , scoring five podiums in 2018 , while he added three more in 2019 . A dislocation-fracture of his right shoulder in the first race of 2020 hurt his campaign but Rins still finished third in the championship after a string of excellent rides . He failed to build on that in 2021 , however , and crashed out of promising positions on five separate occasions . He remains with Ecstar Suzuki for another year and has it all to prove .
