También graduado en la Red Bull Rookies Cup , Darryn Binder afrontó su primera temporada completa en la categoría de Moto3™ en 2015 . En 2016 , el sudafricano hizo verdaderos progresos , firmando un cuarto puesto en Phillip Island , y para 2017 Binder permaneció en el equipo y progresó de forma notable a pesar de una lesión , consiguiendo resultados en el Top 10 , en los puntos y un mejor papel como cuarto . En 2018 , pasó al Red Bull KTM Ajo , pero tuvo una temporada difícil . En 2019 cambió a CIP KTM y consiguió su primera victoria en Catalunya en 2020 . En 2021 , se alió con el Petronas Sprinta Racing , pero los problemas de velocidad punta hicieron que solo pudiera terminar séptimo en el campeonato . Cualquier decepción se vio atenuada por el hecho de asegurarse un asiento en la categoría de MotoGP™ para 2022 con RNF Yamaha , donde competirá a lomos de una M1 del año anterior .

Another graduate of the Red Bull Rookies Cup , Darryn Binder faced his first full season in the Moto3™ class in 2015 . In 2016 the South African made real inroads , scoring a fourth place in Phillip Island and for 2017 Binder remained with the team , and made big progress despite an injury – taking top tens , points finishes and a best result of fourth . In 2018 , he moved to Red Bull KTM Ajo but had a tough season . In 2019 he switched to CIP KTM and he took his first victory in Barcelona in 2020 . In 2021 , he teamed up with Petronas Sprinta Racing but top speed issues meant he could only finish seventh in the championship . Any disappointment was tempered by the fact he secured a seat in the MotoGP™ class for 2022 with RNF Yamaha . Despite competing aboard a year-old M1 , he has put in a number of excellent performances .
