Challenge proposed by Romanian Team for the meeting " About Forest and Land Degradation" in Sibiu ( (Romania)
In order for a student to achieve the development of self-learning skills effectively, a series of changes in their knowledge structure are required, for which they need to know skills, abilities, strategies and techniques that can be used in general, in concrete situations. The student must be able to identify the purposes and reasons to learn something, select the most appropriate strategies. This means that one has to take responsibility and control one's own learning.
From the project, we wanted to launch a serie of actions that would allow this self-learning.
We are then faced with strategies such as challenges, where students show their knowledge and creativity, as well as freedom. We needed ,therefore, to include to this equation the variable of the motivation ( novelty of the activity, emotional and personal aspects, daily problems and a group inquiry).
