Economic Growth Intro: The students visited the a plastic recycling plant and had a guided tour there. The guide explained the main steps of the recycling process and students had an opportunity to see how enormous piles of plastic waste from greenhouses and households were turned into tiny plastic pellets and beads, which could be reused for producing new plastic items. Then students were taken to a sustainable farm where vegetables were grown in greenhouses, meticulously packed and sent to different countries all over Europe. Students learned how the company collects rainwater and uses organic fertilizers to produce fresh and ecologically viable products.
