PHOTOGRAPHY

1. What is the one thing you wish you knew when you started taking photos?

Other photographers or I guess professionals in the industry.

2. How would you describe your style?

Minimalist.

3. How did you get started up as a photographer? What inspired the choice?

I actually wanted to solely do 360 interactive panoramas, but with anything I had to learn the basics and from there I got totally absorbed with lighting and felt the need to experiment into other genres.

4. In your view what makes the good picture stand out from the average?

Image Clarity, Sharpness, Lighting Technique and the Ability to evoke some emotion from the image.

5. How important is it for a photographer to “connect” with his subjects to bring out their true self?

Paramount, absolutely important even with candid work. The photographer has to be able to become the subject to relay the tone of the scene.

6. Would you say photography is a hard line of work to get into?

It depends. Anything is a hard line of work if your passion and drive is not there. So I guess no.

7. What genre of photography do you like and which do you dislike the most and why?

I absolutely love headshots because it is the simplest yet most interesting and profound part of the subject. If I had to say, I would probably say I dislike event photography ‘cause it feels the same at every event.

8. Locations and weather conditions seem to be a crucial aspect to a successful picture. How do you handle these unpredictable factors?

Plan plan plan. There are ways around every situation.
