A Very Honest Fairy Tale Caitlain McAuley
Life ’ s no fairy tale , Not everyone lives forever . Not everyone meets a handsome prince , Not everyone is Cinderella .
The forest isn ’ t magic , I know it ’ s hard to tell , There ’ s no candy trees or chocolate rivers , No tasty sights or great smell .
All through my childhood , You ’ ve been by my side . You ’ ve read me stories , And when you read you lied .
Things don ’ t work out like that , I ’ m sorry but it ’ s true . And now I don ’ t know about taxes , All thanks to you .
Regardless of all these things , I still want to say , After all you have ( and haven ’ t ) done , Happy Mother ’ s Day !
