“My hand-drawn animation technique is one of constant creation and destruction. Every
moment is drawn and documented before being erased. The medium is charcoal which is
quite fitting as charcoal is the charred remnants from what was once a living tree. Charcoal
animation as a process feel appropriate for Declan Greene's Moth; a play in which we watch
Sebastian and his reality gradually erased as a symptom of sustained and systematic
bullying.”
