a bigger world out there, and I wanted to explore it.
It was a very risky decision, as I was only 20 years
old at the time, but I do not regret it one bit. It
made me grow as a person, as a professional, and
the ups and downs taught me many things I know I
wouldn’t have learned had I stayed in Brazil.
FFM: When did you meet IFBB Pro Christine
Wan, what influence does/did she have/had in
your career?
NM: I met Christine Wan at the gym where I used
to train, as she worked there. She had a very
significant influence in my career, as if it weren’t
for her I would not had known about the different
divisions in the IFBB, and she would tell me every
single day, that I should sign up for a competition
and that I would be very good at it.
