ISS PEARL: Thailand-born Pearl
Dronkers studied at the Fine Arts
College in Chiangmai Mai and
attended several fashion design
courses in Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur. Pearl
has won several prizes at the Thailand Young
Fashion Designers competition (2003-2004)
organized by Niranrat.
In 2004, Pearl moved to Holland and opened
her own atelier at the Oude Molstraat, building her
reputation from satisfied customers with wedding/
evening dresses and stage costumes. In 2012
she moved to Mauritskade 89 and started her own
brand, Miss Pearl Couture, participating in artistic
photo shoots, publications, and fashion shows.
Pearl magnifies femininity by working with fine
materials and delicate embroideries with outstanding
quality. She builds her fairy tale creations using
simple designs and exclusive resources, whilst
maintaining a form of sophistication. She also
recently won the Den Haag fashion awards 2014.
