Dr. Patricia Cooney Hathaway, professor of spirituality and sys- tematic Theology gave a presentation Feb- ruary 2 on “Prayer, a Heart for Witness,” at St. Augustine-St. Monica Parish as part of the Sacred Heart Seminary Outreach to the City program. She gave a presentation “Beauty of Spiri- tuality” as part of the Beauty of Belief video series sponsored by Sacred Heart Seminary. On February 9, Dr. Cooney conducted a diaconate day of reflection for deacons and their wives, on “Sexual Integrity: the Quest for Authenticity and Integration in the Spiritual Life.” She con- ducted a four-week Lenten series, March 14 through April 4, “Seasons of Life, Sea- sons of Faith,” at Christ the Redeemer Par- ish, Lake Orion. Dr. Cooney continues to serve as an associate editor for Human De- velopment, a magazine for bishops, priests, religious and laity on the integration of human and spiritual development. Dr. Mary Healy, professor of Sacred Scripture, spoke at clergy conferences in Villahermosa, Mex- ico, November 5-9, 2018, and the Dio- cese of El Paso, Texas, February 14.
