Faithful of all ages and walks of life joined the peaceful demontsrations in Detroit in June 2020 . placing our confidence in God in order to attain to the possession of Him . 9 When we see the true limits of “ created things ”, we become convinced of “ the necessity of placing our confidence in God .” Terrible sins like racism can loom so largely in our minds and hearts so that we lose our human hope . That loss , when we are walking with Jesus , can lead to the Spirit of Knowledge coming to us and enabling the virtue of hope .
The gift of knowledge allows us to see the limitations of both created things and events . When we walk and talk with
Jesus on our pilgrim way , opening to him our need for hope , we often receive this gift of knowledge .
When we claim Jesus as Savior and Lord , he walks with us and he talks with us , transforming us and transforming our nation , setting us free .
