A
n integral part of the mystery of the Incarnation is the
Holy Family. From the earliest days of Christianity, the
Fathers of the Church have commented on the rich beauty
that emerges from the relationships between Jesus, Mary,
and Joseph. These relationships, lived in a specific historical
context, also reveal the identity of the eternal Word of God.
And so the Holy Family is a model of the domestic church,
and there is so much that we can learn from them.
