Welcome to Little Falls, the proud county seat of Morrison County. At the heart of the city stand the Historic Courthouse and the Morrison County Government Center— landmarks that reflect both our rich heritage and our continued role as a regional center of service and leadership.
Little Falls’ history stretches back to before Minnesota achieved statehood. Today, the city continues to grow and evolve, supported by major manufacturers, thriving local businesses and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
The Mississippi River flows through the center of town, defining both our landscape and our identity. Legendary aviator Charles Lindbergh once called Little Falls home, and his legacy remains woven into the fabric of the community. Lindbergh State Park, named for his father, features miles of scenic trails along the river and preserves the setting of Lindbergh’ s boyhood home. In tribute, our middle school and high school teams proudly carry the name“ Flyers.”
Little Falls is, and has long been,“ the city where the Mississippi pauses”— a place rooted in history, strengthened by community and looking confidently toward the future.
