On behalf of the entire community of Pierz , I would like to welcome you to our city and we hope that your visit is an enjoyable one . The city of Pierz is very proud of our Park Complex , which offers all types of recreation , especially golfing and camping . This pristine , historic 9 hole golf course was completed in 1935 and we are excited about our upcoming 9 hole expansion coming in 2025 . Our 62 site campground features river access for swimming and playground . The park complex also offers two large shelters with kitchen to host special events .

Pierz is the home for School District 484 and includes Pioneer Elementary K-6 and Pierz Healy High School 7-12 . Pierz also has a private elementary school , Holy Trinity K-6 . The city ’ s Legion Ball Park is a baseball complex that features varsity and junior varsity fields to host high school , youth baseball and amateur teams . Pierz is proud of our 25 + member volunteer fire department , first responder team and Police Department that all work together for the safety of our community as well as other surrounding areas .

When it comes to fun , The Pierz Area Commercial Club and the active Lions Club host many big events throughout the year . Whether it ’ s a stroll down main street for our summer Rock , Roll & Stroll events , dancing to some live music at the Freedom Fest or celebrating with us for our Oktoberfest celebration , we hope you enjoyed your visit and we can ’ t wait to see you again !
