Little Falls Dam Festival
The Little Falls Dam Festival started in 2005 and is an annual event that takes place at Maple Island Park in Little Falls . The Dam Festival in Little Falls is a river city celebration this year on Friday , June 20 and Saturday , June 21 .
Also on Friday , June 20 , Little Falls businesses will feature their Dam Festival sales with the “ Dam Sidewalk Sale ” during a businesses ’ regular business hours .
Festival festivities get underway from 3 p . m . to midnight at Maple Island Park . Food vendors , beverage garden and pull tabs will be set up . During past festivals , there has been live music in the park beginning right before dusk .
On Saturday morning during Dam Festival , there has traditionally been the Dam Festival parade . The past two years , the parade has traveled along a route from 13th Ave . NE ( by Casey ’ s ) to First Ave . NE .
At Maple Island Park Saturday , in addition to food vendors , a beer garden and pull tabs , there have been activities in the past that included inflatables , kids ’ games , bingo , a dunk tank , the North Dam Market featuring more than 50 vendors and many more fun activities .
There is traditionally a live band and fireworks to close out Dam Fest on Saturday night .
