Morrison County is the gateway to Northern Minnesota .
Established in 1856 , Morrison County has a population of more than 34,000 and is the 17th largest county in the state , occupying 1,125 square miles .
Little Falls , located on the banks of the Mississippi River , is the largest city and the county seat .
