Magically-lit winter hike returns to Lindbergh Park January 3, 2026
The Little Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism invites the community to enjoy the Candlelight Hike / Snowshoe on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026 from 5 – 8 p. m. at Charles Lindbergh State Park.
The free, family-friendly event transforms the park’ s short, easy trails into a lantern-lit winter path, perfect for walking or snowshoeing. Guests may drop in anytime during the three-hour event.
“ This tradition brings our community together and showcases the park’ s stunning winter landscape,” said Sabrina Koelsch, tourism director.“ It’ s a magical way to enjoy the outdoors.”
Know before you go:
A valid Minnesota State Park vehicle permit is required. Purchase online in advance to save time.
The hike will be canceled only in extreme weather— specifically if temperatures reach 0 ° F or below. Check Visit Little Falls on social media for updates.
The event is a partnership between the Little Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, Charles Lindbergh State Park, the Friends of Lindbergh Heritage, and the Morrison County Historical Society.
