about a half mile south of the old homestead that was the home of his great grandparents until they passed away in 1915 , and then his grandparents until their passing . Paul never lived in the home as a child and his parents never lived in the home at all . However , he has very fond memories of visiting his grandmother there . Except for a brief year , when the estate was rented out , the home has remained occupied by Wards .
The home is chock full of memorabilia . A couple of the most notable pieces are a signed Willie Mays photo and a photo of Whoopi Goldberg with Paul when the movie “ Kiss Shot ” was filmed on the property in 1989 . The comedy is about a poor single mother unexpectedly finding love when she supplements her income as a pool hustler . The pool table used in the movie is a
