how does it fare now?

“Wow, this car is
ugly! But, it’s OURS!”
That’s a line I said
numerous times for the
first month after the car
was picked up. Yes, the
car belongs to the
family. But unfortunately,
yes, the looks seem
questionable to this
day. There’s no denying
that the front grille stands
out quite a bit. It helps
make the front look like a
shark. But luckily, it
doesn’t take much getting
used to. One who
actually gives the car a
chance may actually like
it after a while. The rear
of the car can be
interesting. My not-tooflattering note: it looks
almost like a whale. At
night, it looks
great. During the day, it’s
not too bad, except for
that ugly backup camera
sticking out. It would’ve
been nice if Lincoln had
designed it better (to
Mercedes: it would’ve
been nice if it actually
came standard on the
R). The dual exhaust
pipes are a nice, sporty
addition. Towards the
top of the rear is a
‘spoiler.’ Had that not
been present, the car
would surely appear too
soft. The side profile is
actually quite good. It’s a
crossover, but it’s no
cliché Chevy
