From there we head to the reception, now we are in a room designed to party, very dark different color lighting from the DJ, varying light throughout the night all as your family and friends see who can consume the most alcohol.
Now that we talked about how difficult it is let’s talk about how a professional photographer overcomes these obstacles. Number one, Experience, not practice. Shooting a wedding is unlike anything else, the time and pressure is very stressful and you MUST get the appropriate shots.

Any professional photographer will tell you the MOST important item for a photograph is the lens. But as important as that is the combination. The camera, the lens and the lighting all working together in harmony.
So when looking for a wedding Photographer, don’t assume that a nice camera does the job. In fact it requires several nice cameras, a lot of talent and experience.
