Turn off the radio and television. Better still – turn off and disconnect from your cell phone and any other electrical devices you “can’t live without”. The world will still be there when you’re done! Make sure you have plenty of the following things – paper and pen to write with (you never know when you’ll want to make note of something) and plenty of tissue paper (there will be tears so be prepared). Settle in and do a few minutes of centering and breath work. When you’re ready, bring your focus back to the issue you are wanting to work with. Over the 8 weeks you’ve set aside,it is necessary to revisit the same concern(s) from different perspectives – this is where the paper and pen come in handy for note taking. R – Recognize the issue. The Who, What, Where, When, How and Why of detective work. Don’t get caught up. If necessary, pretend you are remote viewing the situation with no emotional entanglements. Sometimes, wisdom works best from a distance! A – Acknowledge your role in this scenario as it plays out. It is imperative that you own up to the consequences of your action(s). Again, it’s not about your motivation. It is about accountability and personal responsibility. LL – What are your Lessons learned? It doesn’t matter if you replay events over and over again, there’s always going to be something new to be gained from the experience. Y – What are YOU going to do about it. You get to decide the changes to alleviate the negative impact the experience has on your life. Now that you’ve been able to analytically slice and dice, what are you doing with the new knowledge and wisdom gained? It is a process. And when you finish one subject; it’s time to move on to another one. You’ll know when it’s time, but not think about taking shortcuts because they will come right back to bite you on the backside. The winds of change will return periodically to remind you to sweep out the cupboards – both physically and emotionally, but it is up to you to be consciously aware of how your own thoughts and deeds impact the circumstances of your life. Constantly being barraged by repeating numbers that just happen to conveniently pop up - like “11:11” or “111”? Your rational mind says, “Huh. That’s cool.” The next day there’s a license plate with “111”, another coincidence. A few days on, when glancing up at the clock, it flashes “1:11”. Maybe it’s time to stop turning away and instead learn to tune in. Strengthening your spiritual muscles takes time and it’s equally important to note nothing happens by chance. As you learn to work those new abilities, you will be able to intuitively understand the meaning of the messages being brought to you. When you start seeing repeating numbers, it’s important to take note of what you were thinking at the time – whether it’s a bad day at the office or just looking for a little divine guidance. Your guides are there with messages to nudge you along the way. Your job is to learn how to pay attention so you can recognize them when they show up.
