And so here we are at the Spring Equinox! Apologies for the timing of this
month’s magazine. Between illness and technical difficulties, Spirit kind
of tied of my hands and made me wait until it
was “right”.
As much as I wanted to push through, make
my deadline and get everything out in time,
I had forgotten the most important rule –
everything happens in perfect time.

Of course, what they neglect to teach is that
perfect time doesn’t happen just because
that’s what we want. Truth is, Spirit knew it
was time to deliver unto me a lesson which
couldn’t be ignored.

That’s when it hit me. Effectively stopped in my tracks, I had to sit in
the silence and just watch as life continued all around me. It was made
painfully clear that my current lesson required remaining outside the
realm to observe.
You are probably aware there was a tremendous Solar Eclipse on the
new moon. It was definitely powerful as it affected technology and
communications more than any Mercury retrograde period that I can
remember.
It was hard to sit on my hands and not just go stir crazy. And, of course,
Ego and Anxiety showed up periodically to titter and taunt around the
edges. I was being tested in ways that showed I have no more immunity
to temptation than anyone else. I am no better and no less than any other
person (see, I am human after all!).
Only later did it occur to me that this was an intervention of sorts. A
lesson in obedience and humility, although it has thankfully been a short
one. I’m not going to lie – it was difficult to step back, without emotion (a
key theme this month), and examine what was really going on.
Fortunately, this spiritually-imposed silence is now over and my “normal”
routine has begun to reassert itself. This is the beginning of a new trip
down the rabbit hole and as time permits, you’ll be
hearing more about this journey.
