Continued from page 25 - The King’s Rose
In the King’s defense; however, he did find true love. And without pause, the King rashly
announced his intention to wed. The entire kingdom gathered hastily a few days later to
celebrate his nuptials. Dressed in their finery, the King’s subjects sweltered languidly in the
midday heat along the roadway waiting to greet their new Queen.
Courtiers lined the processional route passing out specially decorated fans commemorating
the day, with blaring trumpets and cornets announcing the bride’s arrival. Striding by in her
gaudily made up wedding apparel with her attendants in tow, people were dumbstruck, not quite
believing what they were seeing.

strewn along the roadway. Hopelessly in love and eternally besotted, the King never realized
that beneath the glamour his bride was, in fact, a cow.

what you were asking for.
A stickler for perfection with everything in its place and a place for everything, you might be
closing yourself off from receiving some awesome abundances. They won’t show up because what
