There’s Power in the
Whoo Hoo! I’ve been flying higher than a kite and it has nothing to do with
illegal or illicit substances! No, I’ve just been playing around with some new
friends of mine – Crystals. I recently had the opportunity to become guardian
for a group of new stones – rather, they picked me and I just serendipitously
showed up to claim them.
This latest group is very spirited, powerful and conscious. The stones just
showed up and they are bright and animated like the Crystal children of the
When we got home, I cleansed, meditated and claimed them – as much as
that is possible with any sentient species – and then decided it was time to let
my hair down and just have some fun. Their energy is light, playful and they
just seem to shimmer with crystalline sparkles whenever I pick one up and
hold it in my hand.
They insist they are here to help me re-learn how to play. Me – an adult? Yes,
that’s the message, here.
They came to let us know that adult humans have gotten too uptight. We need
to learn how to let go and just return to the state of wonder that a young
child has. They say that laughter cures the human soul, but we don’t laugh
enough. And as you know, playing is a great opportunity to create laughter.
Maybe we should all take a bit out of our hectic schedules to re-learn how to
break the rules. Get whatever crystals out that you own, clear them and ask
them if they want to have a day of fun.
Play doesn’t have to cost a lot. Throw on a
pair of your favorite muck-about clothes,
or maybe even your jammies. Let yourself
explore your creative side. There are no
rules, so color outside the lines. Laugh at
ourselves and in concert with others who
are learning to play again.
Play is good for retraining your brain and
for problem solving. It cuts down on stress,
increases your good endorphins and lowers
blood pressure. Try it out and have fun!
