and introspection random words This time of year is perfect for learning a new process which can help you define and refine your goals. Especially since you’ll be spending so much time inside, it’s worthwhile to know what to do that’s productive. And while the most successful way to develop a mind map is with the help of a trained professional, here are a few basic things you can do on your own to get started: To get started, you need to come up with a thought or idea that you want to work on. Think of all the dreaming and visualization you’ve done in the past – this is just an extension of that. To do this, you want to have a clean piece of paper. Start out by putting down your central idea or thought in the center of the page. As you go, you’ll find yourself working from the center out. Just like the sun, the heart of life is at the center and its warming rays extend out beyond to touch you and your vision. This works along similar lines. You are in the middle of everything. Your dream and your vision for the future is being represented as the central idea. Once you start, you might not be able to stop. Just keep going! You will get the hang of this pretty quickly, especially if you’ve ever done work with vision or dream boards. This is just a different way of visualizing information. Are there rules? Not really; however, there are some things to consider before you get started: Go with the flow. Don’t edit yourself. When you do, you are cutting off your creative juices and putting judgment on yourself. Just ask for guidance to allow the thoughts and words to come from your higher self for your best and highest outcome. Consciously commit to what you want to bring into reality. Once you put pen to paper, your words become real – they exist so make sure what you really want to explore beforehand. You’re brainstorming in a new way, so you’ve got to let it all hang out, without going back and making changes. Once you start filtering your thoughts by making changes, you cut down the creative process.
