We are all born different and it is not something to be wor
ried about but to be proud about.
This is no ordinary story. It's a story that tells us about
how being different is beautiful and how we can overcome
all the problems of our life.
Stuart is the second son of Mr and Mrs Frederick Little.
Stuart has a big brother George but the thing that makes him
different is that he is a mouse. Though different but he does
everything to make himself fit in the family, to be called a
'Little'.
Being different he is able to do things that no other can do.
He has quite a number of hilarious adventures.
Once when his mother lost her ring in bathtub, he trip down
the drain to get it. He helps his brother in the playing of
piano by jumping into the piano to pull out the struck
strings. He also helps him to win a boat competition thus
building up their relationship. The family also has a cat
named Snowbell, which was holding herself hard not to eat
Stuart.
Stuart later meets a bird named Margalo, who is taken into
the house as she is sick. Stuart befriends Margalo, Margalo
helps Stuart when once he was struck in the garbage can.
In the spring Snow well, the cat goes out to meet one of her
neighbourhood friends and talk about wanting to hunt for
birds. Another pigeon hears this conversation and warms
Margalo who flies away as in the spring most of the birds
do. The little family tries to find her but in vain. Stuart takes
out his miniature car and goes to find her. In the way he also
plays the role of a teacher in a school, quite an unusual
day. Later he meets a stranger, asks him the way. The man de
scribes the trees, lakes and Then Stuart heads for North and
somehow he believes he is headed to the right direction and
will meet Margalo soon.
