Q: when was your first drag bike race? A: ‘91, about 17, Q: only 4 years after you started riding. A: I use to go to my friends house all the time after school, and he had a machine shop. We would build bikes, and he knew Elmer Trett, he use to talk to him. I never knew what the guy looked like but I was infatuated with him because he was a big top drag racer.
