Going Beyond
CEDARS CANCER FOUNDATION

n November 10th, over 700 Montrealers came together under the
theme of Go Beyond for the Cedars Cancer Foundation’s 50th An-
niversary Ball and to celebrate five decades of helping cancer patients
and their loved ones. It raised over $5 million for the new Cedars Oncol-
ogy Supportive Care Centre as well as for teaching and research.
“It was wonderful to celebrate this milestone,” stated Jeff Shamie,
President and CEO of Cedars. “Montrealers and Quebecers of all commun-
ities should know that the Cedars Cancer Foundation is setting a new
