Quand vient le moment de considérer l ’ achat d ’ une propriété , le choix du quartier est probablement la première chose à considérer … avec le budget . Ironiquement , les deux sont intrinsèquement liés , puisqu ’ une maison à Auteuil , Laval ne coutera pas la même chose qu ’ une propriété au cœur du Mile-End à Montréal . Une chose est sure : les quartiers se transforment d ’ année en année , bouleversant par ailleurs leur valeur économique .
On assiste ainsi à l ’ embourgeoisement de certains quartiers ( allo Hochelaga ) ou la création de nouveaux centres urbains ( salut Griffintown ). Ces nouveaux et renouveaux brouillent les cartes et obligent les futurs acheteurs à être aux aguets , à la recherche de la prochaine opportunité économique . Le but : acheter là ou , un jour , tous voudront le faire .

We are currently witnessing the gentrification of some districts ( hello , Hochelaga !) or the creation of new urban centres ( greetings , Griffintown ). These new and revived districts blur the lines and can cause future buyers to stay on the lookout for the next great economic opportunity . The goal : buy there now or , soon enough , everyone else will .
