Sarah Lee also works as an interpreter at the main house for Montpelier ’ s Education Program . She enjoyed the expedition programs in Archaeology so much that she decided to help promote them ! A Virginia native , Sarah Lee enjoys delving into the early history of the state and is a sucker for folklore of any kind . She studied History at James Madison University
Chris Pasch , B . A ., Archaeologist , Crew Chief
Chris received his B . A . in History and English Literature from St . Mary ' s College of Maryland in 2013 , and is currently working on an M . A . in Historical Archaeology through the University of Leicester . His primary research interests include the study of identity ( particularly gender ) and the relationship of memory with material culture and place . He is passionate about ceramic history , architecture , the use of technology and social media in archaeology , and theory / historiography .
Hannah James & Taylor Brown , Archaeology Crew
Hannah and Taylor completed a field school here at Montpelier and were selected out of a group of 30 students to become part of our staff . Hannah received her B . A . in Anthropology & Archaeology from the College of Charleston in South Carolina . Taylor also holds a B . A . in Anthropology & Archaeology from St . Mary ’ s College of California . Both interns will be working with you in the units and in the lab and will be part of your everyday experience .
