Monticello Chamber of Commerce
The Monticello Chamber of Commerce & Industry continues its mission of supporting , serving , and enhancing all business sectors in the Monticello area .
Within that , the Chamber strives to strengthen communication among business , industry , school , government , service organizations and area residents .
Monticello Chamber of Commerce & Industry works to bring the business community , government and schools together as one unit to make use of available resources , assets and talents .
The Monticello Chamber of Commerce & Industry works to accomplish what no individual or single business can do alone . The Chamber represents a broad base of businessfrom corporate to home-based , and from industrial-driven manufacturers to the service and professional sectors .
The Chamber is led by Executive Director Marcy Anderson and Administrative Coordinator Deb Meyer . But they are hardly alone at the Chamber , however , because members make the organization .
Twelve local business people make up the Chamber board of directors . Four board members comprise an executive committee Events the Chamber hosts include its annual golf tournament in May , many Riverfest events including Party in
30 | MONTICELLO GUIDE | 2023 the Park , Art in the Park , and Taste of Monticello , Downtown Trick-or-Treating , and the annual Chamber banquet , where the business of the year is recognized .
The Chamber also sponsors the Monticello Royal Ambassador Program . The Monticello Royal Ambassador Program gives three young ladies an opportunity to represent Monticello as a community ambassador for a year .
In addition to supporting the youth of Monticello through the Royal Ambassador Program , the Chamber also awards scholarships to graduating seniors at Monticello High School .
