8 What's on Guide EVENT HIGHLIGHTS TURTLE MONITORING TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEERS Volunteers will be taught basic flatback turtle physiology and behaviour as well as the dos and don'ts of what to do when working with turtles. We will also discuss the roles volunteers can play in protecting the turtles of Port Hedland and how the turtle monitoring program will be carried out this season.
