EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
TURTLE MONITORING TRAINING
FOR VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers will be taught basic flatback turtle
physiology and behaviour as well as the dos and
don'ts of what to do when working with turtles.
We will also discuss the roles volunteers can play in
protecting the turtles of Port Hedland and how the
turtle monitoring program will be carried out this
season.
When: Sat & Sun 1 - 2 November,
10am - 12pm

RECYCLE DAY
Skips bins will be available at the listed locations
for Hedland residents to recycle their cans, plastic
bottles, glass bottles and mixed paper and card. A
car boot sale will also be held at the Port Hedland
Turf Club only. If you would like to hold a stall to sell
your unwanted items contact Care for Hedland.

LADIES NIGHT
Every summer is filled with great memories, begin
yours this year at our summer inspired ladies
night. The event is including giveaways, lucky door
prizes, auctions, photo booth, games karaoke until
midnight with endless surprises and entertainment.
