HAVE A TRY NIGHT
BLUE COLLAR DINNER
Have a try night takes place on Friday 6 March and
is a great opportunity for kids aged 5-15 years to try
out different sporting activities. Please note the event
has moved to Marie Marland Reserve and takes place
from 5pm – 7pm. Grab a registration form from your
school or for more information, contact the Town of
Port Hedland Club Development Officer.
SAFE Hedland are having their first EVER Blue
Collar Dinner with tickets now on sale. Dinner is on
Saturday 21 March at the Ibis Styles Port Hedland.
Get in quick before they sell out as there are only
100 tickets for this fundraising dinner and it is set
to be an amazing night with entertainment, live
and silent auctions, games, raffles, lucky dips, prizes
and much more!!

RECYCLE DAY
Held on the second Saturday of the month at
South Hedland Square and Port Hedland Turf Club.
Come along and recycle your rinsed, lidless plastic
bottles, aluminium cans, glass, cardboard and
newspaper.

PILBARA NATIVE PLANT SALE
Greening Australia will be selling locally propagated
native plants along with their new native plant
book at their stall at West End Markets. We will
also be running a half hour workshop on native
plants so make sure you come down and check it
out!

Getting Started In Your Pilbara Veggie Patch with
ABC Radio's Sabrina Hahn at the Port Hedland Pony
Club Community Garden. Gold coin entry and BYO
refreshments. Come and hear first hand tips and
hints to start your Pilbara veggie patch and ask any
questions you may have regarding plants, diseases,
pests and common treatments. All welcome!
