What's on Guide ADOPT-A-SPOT ROADSIDE CLEAN UP 7 XAVIER TOBY - MINING MY OWN BUSINESS Saturday 24 January is the next clean-up day in the adopt-a-spot roadside initiative along the PortSouth Hedland Road, in an effort to tackle the issue of roadside litter in our community. This month we are targeting the area opposite the entrance to the South Hedland Cemetery (bike path area). Starting at 7.00am, this is a great activity for all the family, friends and work colleagues to get involved in and a yummy sausage sizzle is provided at the end of the clean-up. A person from a different country or culture cooks each month and participants are treated to a lesson in different cuisine and a taste of what has been prepared. We are always looking for cooks to help out too!
