tea. Join us for a cuppa, one of the famous Well Women’s

If you would like to support this event but are unable to attend
the movie, you can still purchase tickets to be donated to
individuals within the community who may otherwise not

Learn how you can get involved in recording
hatchling emergence on Port Hedland’s beaches. You will
receive in-the-field training on correct behaviour around
hatchlings, how to identify hatchling tracks, finding the
hatchlings nest, and measuring and recording the nest position
and hatchling dispersion.

The South Hedland Landfill Facility and the
rubbish collection service will not be operating
on Christmas Day (Friday 25 December).
The landfill will reopen 8am - 4pm on Saturday
26 December (latest entry at 3.45pm).

Monday 28 December. Households whose
collection day falls on Christmas Day will have
their waste collected on Saturday 26 December.
Rubbish collection will not be affected on New
Year’s Day.

at 3.45pm)

Festivities kick off at 5pm with family fun guaranteed. Take
part in the infamous truck pull, kids competitions such as egg
and spoon race and sack jump and a favourite for all ag es
the thong throwing comp and of course the great Aussie Pie
competition.
There will be food and markets stalls and live music and
performances throughout the evening with local act Kadance
counting down to the Pilbara Ports Authority Fireworks
