We are targeting our site opposite the South Hedland Cemetery entrance (the bike path along the Port-South Rd). Wear appropriate shoes, clothing, hat and sunscreen. The awards attract more than 4,000 people to the Port Hedland Courthouse Gallery each year, who support and celebrate the talent of regional artists. The Hedland Art Awards showcases the work of artists living in and around the Kimberley, Pilbara, Mid West and Gascoyne regions. The Exhibition will run until 12 October. Ticketed and exclusive event: Come and sample locally grown organic fresh produce and Pilbara/Western Australian sourced food products. Come dine on local products under the stars and hear from a celebrity chef and ABC TV's very own Josh Byrne. Run by Frontier Services this cooking demonstration takes place the last Friday of the month. Someone from a different country or culture cooks each month and visitors are treated to a lesson in a different cuisine and a taste of what has been prepared in front of them. We are always looking for cooks to help out.
