The Go Ape treetop adventure course is made up of 6 zip lines
(including Maryland and the USA’s first skateboard zipline)
numerous rope ladders, 44 crossings to include the Stirrups
and Twister and 2 tarzan swings.
The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring is the largest aerial
forest adventure park in the nation. Soft LED lights create a
magical experience at night with evening zipline sessions.

The Chesapeake & Ohio Canal National Park has beautiful
canal trails for hikers and bikers. The canal is now traveled by
nature enthusiasts, bikers and hikers throughout the year.
A National Park Service Visitor Center at Great Falls offers
exhibits, spectacular views of the Great Falls and entry to
Riley’s Lockhouse.
The Maryland SoccerPlex is located on the grounds of the
South Germantown Recreational Park. Discovery Sports Center
hosts a number of national sports tournaments. The park has an
indoor pool, adventure playground, archery range, golf driving
range and basketball courts.
The Capital Crescent Trail is a popular trail from Georgetown,
D.C. to Silver Spring, MD suitable for walkers, joggers and bikers.

Go for a scenic drive through the Agricultural Reserve,
an area with 93,000 acres of preserved farmland in
northern Montgomery County.
Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard is nestled in the rolling
hills of Comus at the base of Sugarloaf Mountain.
Visit the organic market and vineyard at Rockland’s
Farm in Poolesville.
Brookside Gardens is Montgomery County’s
incomparable, award-winning 50-acre public display
garden situated within Wheaton Regional Park.
For the community market experience, visit Butler’s
Orchard in Germantown, where for more than 50 years
the Butler family farm has been producing fruits and
vegetables. They also offer pick-your-own tours and
seasonal events.
