Set beneath the second highest mountain in Europe, the Monte Rosa, and falling within the highest European National Park, the vista is quite spectacular. Due to the unique micro-climate, the area produces abundant snow which provides a long ski season with perfectly groomed ski runs. The 3 valleys of the Monterosa Ski Area is made up of the ski resorts of Gressoney, Alagna and Champoluc. Both Turin and Milan airports are an easy 2.5 hours transfer drive to the picturesque village of Alagna Resort.
