Cl as s Notes 2005 TRACI NGUYEN (THOMS) (B.A., Global Studies) is the marketing coordinator at Cardwell Creative in Oregon. She contributes TRACI DAVIS (B.S., Business Administration) is a financial services professional for New York Life Insurance. She was recently elected vice president of the Alumni Board of Directors. She lives in Monterey with her son and dedicates much of her time to volunteering in the community. BILL SCHRIER (Teaching Credential) is a teacher at Carmel High School, where he has been praised by both students and administrators for creating a welcoming and challenging environment in his classroom. Bill recently earned the KSBW Crystal Apple award for excellence in teaching. He volunteers hours to Carmel High extracurricular activities and participates annually in the Constitutional Rights Foundation mock trial program. As both an attorney and a teacher, Bill also volunteers pro bono legal advice. He lives in Marina with his wife Micheen and their dog and cat. They enjoy many hobbies in their spare time, including going to dog parks, playing tennis, and dining at local dog-friendly restaurants. 2006 JENNIFER SMITH (B.A., Liberal Studies) is an after-school coordinator for Pajaro Valley Unified School District in Watsonville. Jennifer helps at-risk youth meet their goals and continue on to high school. Celia and her husband, Max (B.A., Business Administration, 2007, MBA., 2010), volunteer at local events such as the Calamari & Clam Festival and Art at the Adobes. They reside in Monterey. REBECCA WILNER GROTEMEYER (B.A., Liberal Studies) is a resource specialist at Prunedale Elementary School for the North Monterey County Unified School District. She provides individual and small group instruction to students with special needs and identified learning disabilities. Rebecca and her husband Erik live in Marina and enjoy exploring the beach and the surrounding Monterey Bay area. CHRIS ANDERSON (B.A., Teledramatic Arts & Technology) continued his education by earning an MBA from CSU Sacramento and has since been working for Closed Loop in Roseville. His work involves user experience design, usability testing, and improving online experience for the website user. Six years ago, Chris proposed to his wife, Molly (B.A., Teledramatic Arts & Technology, 2007) in the TAT studio. After five years of marriage, the couple is now expecting twin boys. They recently bought a house in Rocklin. Chris has also dabbled in winemaking and will be producing his first full barrel of cabernet franc wine this fall. FAITH STERLING (B.A., Liberal Studies and M.A., Education) works at Pajaro Valley High School in Watsonville as a special day class teacher for students with moderate to severe disabilities.
