The presciently-named“ Wow, that wasWeird: A Post-Election Evening withStephenColbert & John Oliver” washeld at NJPAC in Newark last November. It was the latest iteration of the wildly successful annual benefit for the Montclair Film Festival, and the on-stage conversation betweenthe two comedy giants entertaineda sold-outcrowd.

MAKE YOURSELF APRIORITY
The Women’ s Health Advisory Committee of HackensackUMC Mountainside held its first annual women’ s health event late last year. The event concluded with akeynote luncheon address that focused on strategies to help women cope with mental and physical stress.
THE MONTCLAIR FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL’ S“ THE SPEAKEASY”
The Wellmont Theater played host to this fun fundraiser“ reminiscent of the Prohibition Era”( rightdowntotheseblack and white photos). Over 20 area restaurants contributed culinary bites; Trent Armand Kendall + Brass Illusion providedthe music.
