Here , the builders removed the existing partition walls and cabinetry and extended the original terrazzo ( a poured composite of cement andstones ) floor so they could extendthe room by 50-100 feet . “ It was put in 60 years ago , and nobody knew what mix was used ,” says Hodgson of the successful mix-and-match attempt . “ It was like baking a cake without a recipe .”
