OPEN BOOK/OPEN MIND’S A PIECE OF THE WORLD
New York Times No. 1 bestselling author Christina Baker Kline recently spoke about her latest novel, A Piece of the World,
to an SRO audience at the second anniversary of Montclair Public Library’s Open Book/Open Mind series. Noted local
author Matthew Thomas introduced Kline, and acclaimed writer Caroline Leavett interviewed her following her slide show
about Christina Olson, the inspiration for Andrew Wyeth’s iconic Christina’s World.

March. The intensive three-day pro-
gram focused on advocating for food
waste reduction. He recently led a
free cooking demonstration and tast-
ing at Williams-Sonoma in Upper
Montclair, where he is seen here with
Nicky Messiah of Miss Nicky’s Toffee
and Cookies.
