( Left ) In the dining room , Toledo Geller reupholstered the homeowners ’ chairs with green vinyl seatsand backs of white fabric with ablueand green flower pattern . They used the same green shade to paint the exterior , interior and trim of the original china cabinets . To inject more of the client ’ s appreciation of color , they added powder-blue linen window treatments with custom banding on the top and edge . On the table , a forest of simple tree-shaped decorative elements may be interspersed with food .( Top ) “ We often have a lot of ornaments left over that didn ’ t make it onto the tree ,” says Toledo . The designers found this vessel at Home Goods , and put it to good use . ( Above ) Designers Virginia Toledo and Jessica Geller ; the two converted an extra closet into a dry bar with the familiar hunter green , glass shelves and a mirrored back for sparkle .
